One of the goals of team building is to create a positive working atmosphere and to ensure a trusting cooperation. Therefore, teamwork should not be left to chance.
Ideally, team building / development should be an active, managed process designed to improve collaboration among employees, especially in temporary projects.
The goal is to promote cooperation and team spirit in order to increase the work efficiency of the team. It should be noted that not only the efficient cooperation within the team is guaranteed, but also the cooperation between the team and the supervisor. In addition, dissatisfactions in the teams should be eliminated.
Team development measures usually consist of an analysis of the current situation such as:
•Where is there development potential?
•What can be improved?
•What resources and skills are known within the team?
Group exercises to clarify the mechanisms and dynamics of teams.
Often not only the competencies of individual team members or the whole group (eg communication) are optimized, but also the structures of cooperation are rearranged.
